About the Fellowship
Faith For Our Planet (FFOP), in partnership with Duke University’s prestigious Divinity School, is excited to announce the third cycle of the Youth Interfaith Leaders Fellowship. This fully-funded, week-long program will take place from May 24th to 30th, 2025, at Duke University in North Carolina, USA.
We are seeking 25 exceptional young leaders from around the world who are eager to deepen their understanding of faith-based climate action. The fellowship is designed to foster trust and understanding across faiths, cultures, and sectors while equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to apply a value-based framework rooted in faith to effectively address climate change.

Who Should Apply?
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are between the ages of 20 to 35
- Have relevant education, volunteer, or work experience in fields such as environment, religious studies, or community leadership
- Have access to or are willing to mobilize local networks (social, professional, religious, etc.)
- Are proficient in English and eager to participate actively in the fellowship
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and interfaith cooperation
What to Expect
During the fellowship, you will:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of how faith values can inform leadership, justice, and community efforts in climate action.
- Refine your communication skills to become a powerful advocate for climate-friendly policies and practices.
- Cultivate leadership that embraces inclusivity and equity, strengthening your ability to mobilize diverse communities.
- Initiate faith-based climate projects that address environmental challenges within your local context.
Upon completion of the program, you will join the FFOP Fellowship Alumni Association, providing continued opportunities for involvement in regional events, climate campaigns, and interfaith initiatives.
