Nominations and Applications Process
To become a Pearson Scholar, candidates must be nominated by their schools and apply to undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. Schools are encouraged to nominate a student who exemplifies the qualities of a Pearson Scholar, with emphasis on academic achievement, creativity, leadership, and impact on their school and community.
Eligibility Criteria for Aspiring Scholars
To be eligible for the Pearson International Scholarship, candidates must be international students (non-Canadian), currently in their final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2023, and commencing their studies at the University of Toronto in September 2024. The scholarship is not available for students already attending post-secondary studies or starting their studies in January 2024 at another institution.
