My first internship at the CIT Center of Information Technology was a significant milestone in my professional journey. Here, I operated a health kiosk located in Maira Begwal, Islamabad. My responsibilities included providing assistance and information to visitors regarding health-related inquiries and services offered at the kiosk. This hands-on experience taught me the significance of technology in healthcare and how digital solutions can enhance service delivery in remote areas.

First Visit to NUST: Supporting Disabled Persons

As part of my internship, I had the privilege of visiting the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad. During our first visit, we attended a conference organized by NUST focused on supporting disabled individuals. This event showcased various student projects aimed at improving the lives of disabled persons, including specialized shoes designed to aid mobility and specialized robots that assist with daily tasks. These innovations highlighted the creativity and technical prowess of NUST students, showcasing how technology can be leveraged to create impactful solutions for those in need.
Second Visit to NUST: Business Incubator Center

On a subsequent visit to NUST, I had the opportunity to explore the Business Incubator Center. Here, I met with a company working on tele-radiology, a revolutionary technology that provides remote radiology services. This innovation bridges the gap between patients in remote areas and medical specialists, ensuring timely and accurate diagnoses. The visit to the Business Incubator Center was an eye-opener, illustrating the role of incubators in fostering technological advancements and supporting startups in the healthcare sector.

During my second internship at the CIT Study Center, I visited the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Business Incubator Center. This visit was focused on discussions about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and its critical role in shaping the future. The incubator center at LUMS is a hub of innovation, providing support and resources for startups and entrepreneurial ventures. Our discussions emphasized the importance of STEM education in driving technological progress and economic growth, highlighting the need for continuous investment in these fields to build a sustainable future.

I learned about their innovative system and even operated it, gaining valuable insights into how technology can transform healthcare delivery. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of digital health solutions and their potential to bridge gaps in healthcare access.
